The presented horror title is a story-based one, so if you are one of those feasters who like great stories combined with a nice doze of thrilling adrenaline-boosting jumscares and nervous situation, then you are welcome. The story is pretty tangled. The main character is Ruby, a girl, who has a toy – this is Mr. Hopps, as you have already guessed. The toy doesn’t remind of any funny and cute plush rabbits. If you would think about a prototype of this toy, you might have concluded that it was a maniac rabbit who has a great number of mental disorders, including unmotivated aggression and incredible passion for torturing and killing. However, you will be even more surprised that this toy was made and given to the girl by her beloved grandmother in Mr. Hopps Playhouse part 2.
As you will find out from the game, grandmother was having a really hard time recently. She fell ill, and the problem is that she was mentally ill. During the game, you will find recordings of Ruby’s father who says that once they came to Nana (grandmother), she was staring at the wall and didn’t pay attention to anything happening around her. In a couple of days, she was hospitalized because the neighbors heard her screaming aloud. They called the ambulance and the doctors taken granny away. It seems like the darkest powers are now living in this house and making your family suffer. Your granny is insane now, your parents seem to be killed by Hopps, and you are the only one who is left. Everything you can do is try to understand what are the reasons for all of this to happen. Walk around the house to find the clues, tapes with recordings, keys, and other stuff that will help you get a clearer picture of the hell that is going on here.
When walking, you need to watch your step – the toys that are lying here and there make noises. When Hopps is walking on the background in a room nearby, you need to be especially careful. The game will inform you about your current state and position – whether you are on danger or hidden. If you are visible and endangered, make sure to stand still, sit down, or hide anywhere until your energy will come back and until Mr. Hopps will lose you from his sight. Good luck.
