When your own house turns into a playground, a hellish playground commanded by a horrible creature, it is not the best way to spend your night. However, this is what is happening to the main hero of this story – Ruby, a scared and abandoned little girl in a house occupied with the darkest powers of evil. She is alone in a house, but not really – there is Mr. Hopps out there, a terrifying toy, who is alive and ready to kill. He is scary and he is crazy, so you need to help Ruby stay alive while he is here. Leave your room and start the dangerous trip around the house that used to be your home. But it is not – horrible Hopps is a master here and you are his victim. There are many rooms in the house and you will wander around to find different things that will help you investigate this horrible case happening to your family. You will need the tapes of your dad, who has recorded his suggestion about grandma’s problems with mental health. Grandma made this rabbit and then gone insane, so you have all evidence to think that she is connected with some strange powers, maybe even Satan himself.
The rooms are mostly dark and have background doors or holes. Hopps will appear there too often, so you will have to hide from him. Sometimes, you will hide over the sofa or an armchair, the boxes, or wardrobes. Everything will do when a gigantic horrible rabbit is trying to catch you! The game will inform you whether Hopps can see you at the moment. If he does, then you will see the word Danger or Visible over the life bar. To replenish the bar, you just need to hide or don’t move – it will come to normal itself. There are different tasks for you here – looking for hints and trying to find your parents. However, the main aim is to find out what has happened to your granny and why does a simple rabbit-toy is now a demon chasing you. If you get too close to Mr. Hopps or make too much noise, he will jumpscare you and you will come back to a previous spot, so it is easy to get confused by all those rooms and corridors – they look pretty much the same.
